Freestate Soccer Alliance started as an out -growth of Bowie Soccer Alliance in the early 80s with a handful of teams.  Today, we have over 30 boys and girls’ teams from ages U-9 through U-19 that compete in various leagues in Region 1 and Maryland. The club is based in Bowie, Maryland east of  Washington, D.C and slightly south of Baltimore, MD.

Freestate teams have a history of success at cup play at the State and Regional Level as well as league and tournament play.  Our teams compete in the USYSA Region I League, the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) and the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS). 

Many of our players participate in ODP at the state and regional levels.  In the past couple of years we have seen an increase in the number players selected for the national team pool.  You will see many of our Freestate players leading their high school teams in the private and public leagues to post season play.  Many have gone on to have successful collegiate careers. The Club philosophy is to develop our players so that they are prepared to compete at the next level and learn many life skills to be successful both on and off the field.
