A very successful US Club Soccer Regional championship for the club. Our U-14G, U-15g, U-16G, and U-17G teams will all compete for a US Club Soccer National Championship in Virginia Beach, July 31-Aug 3.
Article from US Club Soccer. One club in particular, Freestate Soccer Alliance, came into the final day with an army of teams, players and fans, and they meant business. Eight teams total represented Freestate Soccer Alliance in the championship games, two of which played each other in the U-17 girls’ final game. This Maryland club had the opportunity to win seven championship games at the Winston-Salem Regional and walked away with five total championships.
“One of our goals was to be consistent and I think our experience of playing in the Red Bull League and now the ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) is what has allowed us to compete at this level,” coach of the U-15G Super Group champions, Freestate Fury, said of the level of play her team displayed over the weekend.
Freestate had a very significant presence in the winners circle at Winston-Salem, NC.
