College Recruitment

NCAA Regulations and Guidelines for Prospective College Student-Athletes

Whether planning on attending a Division I, Division II, or Division III Collegiate Institution, it is very important you understand the rules and regulations governed by the NCAA.  The NCAA website contains vast information for the prospective college student-athlete pertaining to the recruiting process, and the academic and eligibility requirements for players planning to play soccer at the collegiate level.

Freestate cannot stress enough the importance of getting off to a good start academically in your Freshman and Sophomore years in High School and improving upon your grades in your Junior and Senior years.  Even though you may meet NCAA academic standards to be eligible to play in College, admission standards will vary greatly between institutions.
