The weather forecast for tonight and into Friday does not look very promising. However, we do not anticipate the weekend to be a complete washout. Please note that we do anticipate that some field locations, game times and possibly length of games might be changed this weekend . We will keep you posted as conditions change and decisions are made.
Currently, we are modifying the start times for all Saturday matches to be moved back one hour. The schedule on the website will be updated by late afternoon. This will allow us more time to assess field conditions and make changes as necessary Saturday morning.
Due to the anticipated precarious driving conditions (snow / freezing rain) for the teams coming from the North, we will accommodate team check-ins one hour before your scheduled game time on Saturday. This accommodation is being made for all teams from PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA due to the inclement weather. If your team is from one of these states and requires this accommodation, please email the Tournament Director at fsatournamentdir@verizon.net and freestatesoccer@comcast.net by noon on Friday. All other teams are expected to check-in Friday evening as requested.
It is further requested for each team to re-verify your team’s primary and secondary contact information with a name and cell phone number for both individuals. A number of teams have failed to include cell numbers on your application. Please send this information to the two emails provided listed above.
