Overall Club-wide benefits
• League Membership (NCSL/WAGS/CMMSL/BBSL/Region 1)

• US Club Member - opportunities to play in the Summer on highly organized
and competitive teams

• Lighted fields for practices and games.

• Co-Directors of Coaching to support with coaching clinics, provide progressive
training methodology and curriculum, team consultation, tournament and
administrative support.

• Patrick Noel – led several teams to MD State Cup Championships including
current U-15 Freestate Titans. Coached for 8 years in the MD Olympic
Development Program.

• Steve Campbell – has led both boys and girls teams to USYSA Region 1
Championships. Former Coach at the University of Maryland. Has coached
numerous members of US Youth National teams. Former MD ODP and
Region 1 ODP Staff coach.

• Free entry into March Freestate Spring Break Out Tournament.

• Ability to participate in supplemental programs like Speed and Agility training

Specifics by age-group


U-9 through U-14 teams
• Freestate Youth Academy run by qualified youth trainers once each week for
8 weeks in the Fall and Spring.

• Winter Academy training at the SkateZone in Crofton, MD.

• Organized Summer Pick-up Games.

• 2 Seasons of Goalkeeping Training with Rob Vartughian, Assistant Coach
at the University of Maryland. Former Professional Player.

• Coaching Education clinics and meetings for all U9-U13 Coaches throughout the year.

• Club subsidized expenses for coaching courses and licensing.



U-15 and Above
• Winter Indoor training times at Soccer Dome (4 sessions for Winter 2007).
Average hour rental at Indoor facilities in the State of Maryland is $100.

• QAS outdoor lighted training times (using portable lights with generators)
in November and December for teams preparing for College Showcase tournaments.

• Ability to participate in a supplemental Speed and agility program in the
Winter and Spring.

• Lighted fields for practices and scrimmages during the Fall high school seasons.

• Team support from Directors of Coaching.

• 2 Seasons of Goalkeeping Training with Rob Vartughian, Assistant Coach
at the University of Maryland. 2006-2007 winter sessions will be on Wednesdays
in the bubble at the University of Maryland.

• College Success Recruiting information nights with local coaches.

• Freestate Showcase College Night (November 21, 2007)

• Ability to place player profiles onto Freestate Soccer Website.

• Coaching Education clinics and meetings for all U14 and above in the Winter and Spring.

• Club subsidized expenses for coaching courses and licensing.
