U15 Boys : Freestate Arsenal
The Freestate Arsenal, a Bowie-based boys U-15 (born after August 1, 1992) team finished the Fall 2007 season in the NCSL Division 1 and will compete in NCSL Division 1 for the Spring 2008 season. The Arsenal were Quarter-Finalists in the 2007 Maryland State Cup last year, their only loss to the National Champion Baltimore Bays team.
The highlight of last summer was the Loch Lomond Youth Soccer Festival in
Stirling, Scotland. The players spent 8 days training and competing in international friendly matches. The Arsenal went undefeated in the tournament (4-0), earning the festival Championship.
The Arsenal 2008 seasonal calendar will include the following tournaments: Maryland State Cup, Potomac Memorial Day Tournament, US Club Soccer Regionals, CASL Shootout Raleigh NC, Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament, Baltimore College Showcase, and a Christmas travel showcase tournament.
