LOCATION
- Freestate Soccer Alliance would like to invite you to a fantastic weekend of soccer competition in Maryland. The event is open to all US, Canadian and International competitive and classic club teams ages u9-u19.
- u9-u10; U13-u14 age groups will be played in the Bowie-Annapolis area.
- U11-U12 - age groups will be played in Huntingtown
- U15-U19 age groups will be played in the Kent Island-Centerville area.
AGE GROUPS AND ELIGIBILITY
- U9-U19 $525-$750 entry fee.
- Boys and Girls Divisions at each age.
- Premier and Classic at all ages, depending on quality of entries.
- Application Deadline: February 17, 2012.
The Freestate Spring Breakout Tournament is a US Youth Soccer-sanctioned tournament through the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be affiliated and their players registered with US Youth Soccer through their respective State Associations or US Club Soccer. Teams must be in good standing with their state association to play in our tournament. Permission to Travel Forms (not necessary for Region 1 teams) unless from New Jersey or Connecticut, validated state player passes with photos, official team rosters and medical release forms (not-notarized) will be required of all teams accepted into the tournament.
If you have previously registered for another tournament whose applications are processed by GOTsoccer, you will already have a team page in their system. If this is your first application to a tournament processed by GOTsoccer, you will create your team page at the start of the application process.

PAYMENT
You must send your tournament fee payment by check by postal mail to Freestate Soccer Club immediately after you apply online and receive your application confirmation number. You must enclose a copy of your confirmation email with your check to assure your check is credited to the proper team. Mail requiring a signature (certified, registred, etc.) will not be accepted.

u12 Age group: Maryland MSYSA teams can only play 8v8. 8v8 teams from other state associations can play 8v8 or 11v11. Must list format on application.
PERFORMANCE BOND
u15-u19 teams will be required to pay a $250 performance bond. This is explained in the GOTSoccer Payment Instructions.
DEADLINE
Online registration and OUR RECEIPT OF ENTRY FEE AND ENCLOSURES is February 17, 2012. Applications received after February 17, 2012 will be placed on a waiting list.
ENCLOSURES
You must submit by the deadline in one envelope.
1. Your confirmation of registration from SoccerScheduler.com
2. A check or money order for the full tournament fee payable to Freestate Soccer Alliance (U.S. Dollars only). Application will not be considered complete without full payment. If your team is accepted the fee is non-refundable. If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the fee is non-refundable and sanctions may be placed against your team for future participation in future tournaments. Should your team not be accepted, the fee will be returned.

ACCEPTANCE
Upon acceptance teams will need to complete the following tasks:
- Booking hotel reservation throught our hotel agengy THS. All teams that are accepted and have to stay overnight must use the hotel reservation system. Any team that does not use THS will be disqualified from the tournament. No refund will be issued.
- Teams need to enter the names and uniform numbers of their players for use in the tournament program on their specific SoccerScheduler team page.
- u16-u19 teams enter player profiles forms on team page for online access by college coaches.
- All teams need to book their hotel rooms by February 22 or they will not be accepted in the tournament.
- No team will be accepted until all application entry fees are received. Once they are received your team will be accepted unless we receive your fees after February 22 then your team will be placed on the waitlist.

REGISTRATION
- Registration will be from 3:00-8:00pm on Friday March 16th for Boys’ / Friday March 23rd for Girls’ at Springhill Suites by Marriott Annapolis, 189 Admiral Cochrane Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401
- Only one team representative needs to be present for registration.
- Teams that do not register on Friday will be dropped from the tournament.
- Player passes, certified rosters, Permission to Travel forms (Team outside of Region 1, New Jersey and Connecticut ONLY) and medical release forms will be checked at that time.

Teams must present at registration:
- State Association or US Club Soccer approved roster plus two copies of that roster.
- Player cards for each player plus guest players.
- Non-notarized medical release for each player, plus guest players
- Medical release forms must be signed within the last 12 months.
- State Association approved permission to travel forms.
- Please add any guest players to bottom of your roster.
GAMES, RULES, AWARDS
- For all age groups, the usual format is 3 preliminary games plus a championship final. u16-u19 teams may be scheduled Friday night game but like all other age groups the schedule will be 2 games on Saturday, 1 on Sunday morning, and the final Sunday afternoon. Depending on the number of participants in an age group, some divisions will play 2 preliminary games on Saturday, a semi-final or consolation game on Sunday morning and the final on Sunday afternoon.
- All games are played in accordance with FIFA rules, except as modified by Tournament Rules. Please see playing rules in the sidebar.
- Awards are presented to the first and second place team in each division.
ROSTER AND GUEST PLAYERS
The following are the maximum roster size per age group:
- u9-u12 (8v8) 14 players
- u12-u15 (11v11) 18 players
- u16-u19 (11v11) 22 players; only 18 players per game day roster.
- A team may use up to (4) guest players but cannot exceed the maximum roster size. All guest players must be approved by the Tournament Director at registration.
