2008 SPRING BREAKOUT CAPITOL CUP
 
Freestate Soccer would like to invite your team to attend the 2008 Spring Breakout Capitol Cup. March 15 and 16 for the girls and March 29 and 30, 2008 for the boys.
 
ELIGIBILITY: The Spring Breakout is sanctioned under both USYSA and US Club Soccer for eligible boys and girls U9-U19. If registering under USYSA, you will be required to provide your original state roster plus two copies, player pass cards and medical release forms for each player at registration. Under the US Club Soccer affiliation, you will be required to present an approved roster from your member organization, letter of good standing from your organization, approved roster listing, and approved member passes for each player.  Approved Permission to Travel forms must be received for all teams traveling from outside the State of Maryland unless you play in the WAGS or NCSL soccer league.
 
APPLICATIONS AND DEADLINES: All teams will have to fill out a separate application which can be downloaded from this website. Girls application deadline is Feb 10th and Boys deadline is Feb 17th. REFERRES: A 3-man USSF Referee system will be used for all games as possible, except for the U9 -U12 age group, as they will use a one Ref system.
 
ROSTER SIZE:
U9-U10: Maximum 12 players
U11-U12: Maximum 14 players
U13-U16: Maximum 18 players
U17-U19: Maximum 22 players, only 18 players allowed to dress per game.
 
GAMES: Three (3) game minimum.
 
DIVISIONS: Premier and Classic, where possible
 
GUEST PLAYERS:  Five guest players per team will be permitted as long as they are currently USYSA registered and possess a stamped player pass card in the correct age group.
 
RULES: All games will be played under the FIFA Laws, except as modified by the tournament rules herein.
 
AWARDS: Individual awards will be given out to 1st and 2nd place teams. Exchange of patches or pins is encouraged between teams.
 
VENUES: Fields within the greater Bowie area.
 
Tournament Housing: All teams that are accepted in this tournament and have a need to stay overnight must use the THS Company reservation system. Any team not using THS will not be accepted in the tournament.
 
CHECK-IN:  At that time, all necessary documents will be verified. No check in will be allowed at the fields prior to a team’s first game.
