The event will be directed by Rob Vartughian, Assistant Coach at the University of Maryland and Kyle Swarts, Goalkeeper coach for Loyola College. AdditionalCollegecoaches will be invited to attend the clinic. Coaches will get the opportunity to see goalkeepers go through a session which will provide a better identification opportunity than a game. There is no cost for this event.

To ensure the quality of service provided at the 2008 Capitol Cup, the Freestate Soccer Alliance Soccer Club has appointed THS Company as the official Hospitality Service of the tournament.
All teams are mandated to book any hotel reservations through THS Company to ensure their place in the 2008 Capitol Cup. Any teams that do not comply will be at risk of forfeiting their acceptance.

By using THS Company as our booking service the Freestate Soccer Alliance and the Capitol Cup can offer our "Act of God" Clause. This states "Should this event should be cancelled for reasons beyond the Event Organizer’s control (including weather), all outstanding reservations will be released at no charge to the participants."
