The Freestate Inferno are looking for dedicated premier level players to join the existing squad.
The Freestate Inferno are a U15 WAGS Division 2 team coached by Mellanie Nai. Mellanie has just recently taken over the coaching responsibilites for the Inferno. Mellanie has the playing and coaching background that will help propel the Inferno. She played keeper at Marist College. Mellanie has coached at UMBC and Loyola College, was on the regional 1 goalkeeping staff for 3 years, and coached MD ODP. Mellanie’s most recent experience has been with Seton High School. She has been coaching Varsity Girls for 4 years and has led them from 10th to 4th last year. Mellanie was also named coach of the year last fall for the WCAC High School league.
The goal of this team is to continue to improve in all aspects of the game and continue to move upward towards Division 1 and beyond.
Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held on June 10, 12 and 17.
Tryouts will be held at Murtuagh#1, Bowie from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
